The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munk rushes Paschal and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Paschal wants to take the fight to the mat but Munk manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Munk lands a right hand.
Munk misses with a hook from the clinch.
Munk is trying to maintain a safe position but Paschal gets an underhook and turns Munk into the ropes.
Paschal has Munk pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Munk manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Munk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Paschal has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Munk has managed to get both his arms back between Paschal's legs - danger averted.

We've been hearing good reports from Paschal's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Munk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Paschal is proving hard to escape from.

Paschal is looking to cinch up a triangle. Munk throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paschal's body to avoid the submission. Paschal has instead reached around Munk's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paschal arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
