The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Timmons.
Timmons looks for a takedown but Beck sprawls well.

Beck distracts Timmons with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Beck's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Timmons throws his legs up looking for a submission but Beck uses it to pass to side control.

Timmons tries to control but Beck manages to take his back.
Beck is not going to allow Timmons to sit and survive in this position.

Beck is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Timmons has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Beck has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Timmons taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Beck doesn't care though - he's delighted!
