Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lawson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Willis content to stall in guard here.
Willis throwing strikes from guard but Lawson blocks nicely.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Willis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Willis controls from within his opponent's guard.
Willis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Willis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawson wants to sweep but no luck.
Willis working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lawson's head.
Willis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Willis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Willis cracks Lawson with a solid left hand.

Lawson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Willis is one step ahead there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Willis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lawson for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Willis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Willis tries to bum rush Lawson with a series of wild strikes but Lawson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lawson throws a big elbow that misses.

Willis wants to get back to his feet but Lawson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Willis looking for a guillotine here but Lawson defends easily.

Willis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lawson is aware though and is defending well.

Willis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Willis is looking to stand up but Lawson isn't so interested in that idea.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lawson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Willis is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lawson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Willis has one foot on Lawson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Willis is breathing heavily.

Lawson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Willis manages to get back to half guard.
Willis tries to roll over but Lawson keeps him under control.
Lawson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Lawson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Willis could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lawson has cracked it and Willis is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lawson!
