Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffrey Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ty Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sinclair moves into the clinch successfully.

Walsh pulls guard effortlessly.
Sinclair stops Walsh from standing up.
Sinclair trying to control but Walsh is working from the bottom.
Sinclair is fighting to break Walsh's control of his arms but Walsh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sinclair slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sinclair looking to sit in guard and control but Walsh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Walsh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walsh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sinclair looking for a sweep. Not yet Sinclair, not yet.
Walsh keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sinclair's head.

Walsh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sinclair working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walsh.
Sinclair is looking to stand up but Walsh isn't so interested in that idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Walsh prevents Sinclair from getting back to his feet.
Sinclair really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walsh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Walsh is working Sinclair over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Sinclair avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sinclair is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Walsh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sinclair closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walsh circles away.
Sinclair swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walsh counters with a nice kick to the body.
Sinclair looks winded!
Sinclair does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sinclair shoots for a takedown but Walsh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jeffrey Walsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ty Sinclair.

Walsh shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Walsh was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sinclair tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Walsh lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Walsh has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Sinclair! Can he survive? No! He's out! Walsh gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jeffrey Walsh!
