Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Valdez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rage Machine!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine throws a sloppy head kick

and Valdez counters with a single leg into guard. Machine didn't expect that.
Valdez trying to control but Machine is working from the bottom.
Machine is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Valdez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Valdez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Machine lands a couple of elbows.
Valdez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Machine is concentrating on defense, preventing Valdez from advancing position.
Valdez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Valdez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Machine is just riding it out for now. Valdez eventually gives up the hold.
Valdez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Valdez wants to work for an arm triangle but Machine is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Valdez has gone for a leg lock! Machine slips out almost immediately though and dives into Valdez's guard.

Machine is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Valdez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Machine pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Machine doesn't manage to clinch there - Valdez circles away.
Valdez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Valdez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rage Machine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Machine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Machine stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Machine has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Valdez seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Machine can turn it around.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Valdez tries to pull guard but Machine holds him up against the cage and eventually Valdez drops back down to his feet.
Machine is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Machine's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Rage Machine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rage Machine seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Machine manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Machine lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Valdez or not.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Machine will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Valdez up against the cage.

Oh Valdez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machine throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Valdezs head.
Machine lands a big right hand that drops Valdez! The killer instinct kicks in and Machine finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Machine!
