Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Mayflower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Done Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho throws a one two combo.

It looks like Larry Mayflower has been cut.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Carvalho.
Carvalho lands a head shot.
Carvalho lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mayflower will feel that in the morning.
Mayflower walks into a stiff left hand from Carvalho.
Carvalho with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mayflower dives in for a single leg takedown but Carvalho sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Carvalho.
A jab from Carvalho finds it's way through Mayflower's defenses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mayflower gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mayflower closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Carvalho is trying to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Carvalho's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Carvalho holds on to Mayflower's head and controls the position momentarily.
Carvalho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mayflower. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mayflower wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carvalho, who protects the arm well.
Carvalho is not content to let Mayflower control the position.
Carvalho tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Mayflower goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Carvalho has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mayflower but great work by Carvalho.

Carvalho misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Carvalho tries to score with some ground and pound. Mayflower controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Carvalho cracks Mayflower with a big right hand but Mayflower just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mayflower tries to get back to half guard but can't.

My spies in Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center inform me that Carvalho has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Mayflower has his foot on Carvalho's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carvalho works his way back into a safe position though.
