Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diziet Sma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). shannon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. yesterdays headlines kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diziet Sma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick shannon!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has shannon pinned against the cage. shannon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sma looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for shannon!
shannon sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
shannon regains full guard. Nicely done.
shannon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sma manages to get himself to full guard.
shannon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
shannon wants to pass the guard but Sma is keeping the position.
Sma working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from shannon.
Sma wants to stand up but shannon is controlling him.
Sma throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
shannon thows a big elbow that misses.
shannon stands and throws Sma's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sma wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
shannon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sma takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sma tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Sma is breathing heavily.
shannon lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sma hang on?
The referee warns Sma that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
shannon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sma manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Sma wants to control but shannon postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sma is working to avoid the ground and pound but shannon connects with a decent elbow.
shannon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sma keeps working.
shannon is trying to get an arm triangle but Sma is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sma is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
shannon misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
shannon in side control lands a decent elbow.
shannon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sma looks calm but he's in trouble here. shannon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sma is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! shannon lets go of the hold and Sma can pop his arm back in it's socket.
