Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gil Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeda Teorc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teorc instigates a clinch.
Teorc is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Casey has his foot on Teorc's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Teorc works his way back into a safe position though.

Teorc got a little sloppy there for a moment and Casey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Teorc has managed to get both his arms back between Casey's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Gil Casey will probably get the nod.

Casey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Teorc is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Casey tries to sprawl but Teorc drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Casey is looking for a sweep. Teorc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Teorc is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Casey is just riding it out for now. Teorc eventually gives up the hold.

Teorc is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Casey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Casey manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Casey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Teorc is pressing down on Casey's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Casey distracts Teorc with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Takeda Teorc has got the better of the ground game so far.

Teorc working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Casey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Casey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Teorc is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Takeda Teorc comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Teorc has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
