Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zus Bielski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nik Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes ducks under a wild hook from Bielski.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nunes checks a leg kick.

Bielski moves into the clinch.
Bielski misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nunes.
Bielski lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nunes or not.
Bielski prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nunes goes for a takedown attempt but Bielski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bielski stuffs the takedown.
Zus Bielski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nik Nunes.
Bielski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nunes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bielski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bielski moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bielski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bielski throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nuness head.
Bielski slows down the pace here.
Bielski content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Nunes tries for a takedown but Bielski manages to get underhooks.
Bielski is pressed up against the cage. Nunes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bielski down to the mat. Bielski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bielski thuds a left hand into Nunes's body.
Nunes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bielski looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Nunes fails with the takedown
enabling Bielski to counter with a crisp jab.

Bielski clinches with his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nunes is looking for a takedown.
Nunes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bielski slowing the pace effectively.
Nunes is working for takedown but Bielski is calmly controlling the position for now.
A short uppercut from Bielski.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bielski lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nunes backwards.
Bielski lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Nunes tries to break the clinch but Bielski is controlling the position.
Bielski is struggling to control the position.
Bielski lands a nice uppercut.
A short right from Bielski.
Bielski scores with a hook to the body.
Bielski scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bielski lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bielski just leaning against Nunes, taking a breather.
Bielski lands an uppercut.

Bielski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nunes misses with a takedown
and Bielski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nunes looks winded!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nunes seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Bielski shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Nunes is backing up but Bielski catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Nunes covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Bielski Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zus Bielski!
An out of breath and clearly excited Zus Bielski thanked On Tap (160Q & Laundry) for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
