The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn Jr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Benn Jr there as he acknowledges the shot.
Benn Jr misses with a two punch combination.
Adams throws a sloppy head kick and Benn Jr moves out of range easily.
Benn Jr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Benn Jr throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Adams tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Benn Jr is in Adams's guard.

Benn Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Adams is working an open guard so Benn Jr takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Benn Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Adams defends well and Benn Jr ends up having to push Adams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
