Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mcneil blocks a head kick by Sharpe.

mcneil thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sharpe manages to work his way to half guard, despite mcneil's best efforts.

mcneil avoids the head kick by Sharpe.
Sharpe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! mcneil crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sharpe - the referee stops the clock and mcneil gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sharpe. mcneil manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sharpe misses with a takedown attempt - mcneil sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
mcneil tries to clinch there but Sharpe circles away.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sharpe connects with a nice short shot to mcneil's temple.
