Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Bruzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salmon Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruzinski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hello. Salmon Chase will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruzinski misses with a head kick.
Bruzinski avoids the body shot from Chase.

Salmon Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bruzinski drops back looking for a leg! Chase is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chase manages to kick Bruzinski off! Bruzinski jumps back into Chase's guard.

Chase escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bruzinski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bruzinski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bruzinski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chase is looking for a triangle but Bruzinski pushes his legs off easily.

Chase is looking to improve his position but Bruzinski isn't that keen on the idea.
Chase is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bruzinski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Chase tries to bum rush Bruzinski with a series of wild strikes but Bruzinski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bruzinski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chase checks a low kick from Bruzinski.
Chase throws a right hand that Bruzinski ducks under and follows up with a left that Bruzinski also avoids with ease.
Chase lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bruzinski circles away quickly and effectively.
Bruzinski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bruzinski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chase is fending him off so far but Bruzinski persists. Nope, Chase circles away and we're back to standing.
Chase scores with a one two! Bruzinski had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bruzinski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bruzinski tries a head kick but it misses.
Chase cracks a nice hook into Bruzinski's ribs.
Bruzinski shoots in looking for a takedown. Chase tries to sprawl out of it but Bruzinski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chase manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Bruzinski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Donk. Chase catches Bruzinski right on the button with a cross.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chase throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bruzinski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chase scores with a sloppy right hand. Bruzinski should have avoided that one.

Chase scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bruzinski takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chase jabs Bruzinski right on the nose. Bruzinski blinks but takes it well.

Bruzinski is rocked!
Chase cracks Bruzinski with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bruzinski falls to his knees and Chase doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Salmon Chase!
