Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Corrida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Corrida's choice of entrance music: Shadowhunter. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tatsuya Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 30 - 4, fighting out of London, Juan Corrida!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corrida lands with a nice body punch.
Corrida moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Aoki cracks Corrida with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Aoki feints and as Corrida raises his hands in defense, Aoki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aoki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Corrida is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aoki, into his guard.

Aoki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Corrida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Corrida manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Corrida sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Aoki's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tatsuya Aoki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tatsuya Aoki will probably get the nod.

Aoki rolls with it to try and escape but Corrida cranks on the arm and Aoki is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Juan Corrida thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
