Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dwayne Johnson!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walters was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Walters slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard.

Walters stands up from Johnson's guard - Walters perhaps looking for a knockout.
Walters moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson has Walters pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Johnson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Walters tumbling to the mat - Johnson dives into Walters's guard.
Johnson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Walters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Walters knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Johnson is trying to control. Walters wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Johnson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walters on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Walters wants to get back to full guard.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but Walters is defending well.
Johnson trying to control the action but Walters is working from the bottom.

Johnson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Johnson passes the guard and advances to mount!

Oh Walters is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Johnson has hold of Walters's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Walters manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Johnson looking for a guillotine from mount but Walters is having none of it.

Johnson postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Walters badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Johnson around the waist but Johnson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Johnson is the winner by TKO! Johnson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
