Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdavid throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mcdavid looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mcdavid throws a body shot but no joy.
We've been hearing reports that De Angelico has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Mcdavid lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
De Angelico is trying to control but can't.
De Angelico is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
De Angelico wants to get back to full guard but Mcdavid has passed into side control.
Mcdavid in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
De Angelico takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

De Angelico is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mcdavid lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear De Angelico down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcdavid pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Mcdavid has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mcdavid is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and De Angelico goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Mcdavid!
