Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cory Deegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deegan comes to the ring accompanied by Land of Confusion. Douglas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Go For a Soda by Kim Mitchell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Douglas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas tries to land a leg kick but Deegan saw it coming and moves away.

Deegan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Douglas!
Douglas tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Deegan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Douglas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Deegan but great work by Douglas.

Deegan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Douglas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Douglas is looking to take a break and control but Deegan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Douglas softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Deegan is out cold! Douglas jumps to his feet and celebrates on the ropes with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
