The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns is looking to clinch but Cropp is avoiding it.
Cropp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cropp showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burns .
Cropp moves out of range of the strikes.
Burns ducks under a wild hook from Cropp.
Burns pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A combination from Cropp does no damage.
Burns slips a jab and a cross from Cropp.
Cropp takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns throws a jab but it's blocked by Cropp.
Cropp looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burns uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cropp has time to react.
Cropp connects with a crisp jab.

Burns connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cropp momentarily.
Alex John Conor Burns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Burns has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burns there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cropp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Burns counters with a big right hand! Oh Cropp is in trouble here! Burns follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
