The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a hook. Oleynik ducked under it nicely.
Oleynik looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well.

Oleynik uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diaz.
A nice side step and Oleynik releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Oleynik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diaz clobbers Oleynik with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Oleynik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diaz moves away.

Oleynik creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Diaz's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Diaz drops to his knees and Oleynik pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
