Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Sole Uce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackjan Tio!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tio throws a low kick, looking for Uce's leg but Uce calmly moves out of range.
Uce appears to be looking for a big counter.
Uce scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Jackjan Tio has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Uce.
Uce dives in and scores a takedown into Tio's guard.
Tio is rocked!
Uce stays in close to Tio's body and controls the position.
Tio looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Uce showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Tio is pulling down on Uce's head. It's preventing any offense from Uce, at least for the moment.
Uce wanted to stand there but Tio had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Uce slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Uce gets to his feet - Tio follows without any prompting.
Sole Uce is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Uce connects with the punch.
Uce fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Uce drops Tio with a beautiful combination! Tio stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Uce is looking for the KO!
Tio is still on wobbly legs! Can Uce finish him?
Tio switches off momentarily and Uce cracks him with a monster right hand! Tio topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Uce dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Uce!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sole Uce!
