The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westbrook with a poor takedown

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Westbrook pushes Jones off but Jones dives into side control.

Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Westbrook manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts.
Jones prevents Westbrook from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Westbrook is trying to control but can't.
Jones lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Westbrook is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
