The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Soprano darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Overeem bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Soprano's head.

It looks like Tony Soprano has been cut.
Overeem lands a glancing blow to the side of Soprano's head.
A combination from Soprano does no damage.
Overeem just misses with a punch to the body.
Soprano looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Soprano with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Overeem to score with a decent uppercut.
Soprano swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Soprano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Overeem doesn't seem bothered though.
Overeem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Soprano manages to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Overeem scores with a sloppy right hand. Soprano should have avoided that one.
