Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Claudemir Bonanza!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roussow lands a jab to the nose.
Bonanza closes the distance and clinches up with Roussow, looking for a takedown. Bonanza pushes Roussow against the cage but Roussow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Roussow throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bonanza tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Bonanza darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Roussow won't allow Bonanza to pass to mount.

Bonanza seems to be looking for submissions.
Bonanza is trying to control the action in half guard but Roussow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Roussow tries to roll over but Bonanza keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roussow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Roussow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bonanza defends well.
Bonanza wants to pass the guard but Roussow is keeping the position.

Bonanza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bonanza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bonanza has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Roussow defend it? Bonanza steps over the head and cranks it - Roussow is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bonanza!
