Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blue Kandle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Behnder Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kandle swings for the body but Behnder Jr moves out of range.
Kandle misses with a double jab.

and Behnder Jr counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kandle is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Kandle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Behnder Jr's coach down at World Combat Sports Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Behnder Jr's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Behnder Jr lands a really nice looking cross but Kandle seems unphased.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Behnder Jr is nestled in close to Kandle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
