Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Voldet Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederik Fillmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fillmore fails with a takedown attempt.

Jenkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jenkins lands in his opponent's guard.
Jenkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jenkins wants to stand but Fillmore is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jenkins wants to control from the top but Fillmore keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fillmore looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Jenkins throwing strikes from guard but Fillmore blocks nicely.
Jenkins looking to sit in guard and control but Fillmore gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Fillmore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fillmore drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jenkins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fillmore has Jenkins in his guard.

Jenkins forces his way into half guard.
Fillmore has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Kell Fight House. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Jenkins throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Fillmore to regain full guard.
Fillmore is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fillmore perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Fillmore is looking for a kimura but Jenkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fillmore to get the leverage.
Jenkins is trying to stand.

Fillmore gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Fillmore is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jenkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Jenkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jenkins closes the distance and clinches.

Jenkins pulls Fillmore into guard.
Fillmore is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenkins has wrist control.

Fillmore decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jenkins, up you get!

Jenkins pushes Fillmore up against the cage in a clinch.

Jenkins drags the fight down to the ground.

Jenkins is breathing heavily.
Fillmore lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fillmore trying to control but Jenkins is working from the bottom.

Fillmore thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jenkins keeping moving, preventing Fillmore from controlling successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jenkins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fillmore is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fillmore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jenkins but Jenkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jenkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Voldet Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederik Fillmore.

Jenkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Fillmore has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jenkins is on him like a limpet, forcing Fillmore back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jenkins stalling in the clinch.
Jenkins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Fillmore backwards.
Fillmore has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jenkins after a bit of a struggle.

Jenkins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fillmore passes into half guard.
Frederik Fillmore has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
