The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As Buckeye backs off Gatavs throws a huge counter combo but Buckeye manages to avoid it all.

Buckeye will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gatavs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Buckeye to score with a decent uppercut.

Buckeye scores with a hook to the body. Gatavs takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Buckeye connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gatavs tumbling to the canvas! Buckeye pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gatavs was done - good stoppage!
