The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marks closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Matson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Matson tries to throw a body punch but Marks avoids it by throwing Matson back against the cage.
Matson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Matson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Matson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marks is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Marks closes the distance and clinches up with Matson, looking for a takedown. Marks pushes Matson against the cage but Matson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Marks 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Matson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Marks under the eye.

Matson continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Marks drags the fight down to the ground.

I've got Matson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
