The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kordic lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lafitte keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kordic.
Kordic blocks a head kick by Lafitte.
Nice jab there from Kordic.
Kordic has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kordic throws a head kick but Lafitte moves out of range.
Kordic falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lafitte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lafitte cracks Kordic with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like John Kordic has been cut.
Kordic blocks a jab.
Kordic misses with a straight left.
Kordic misses with a double jab
and Lafitte finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Good shot there by Lafitte.
Kordic takes a swing at Lafitte's ribcage but misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kordic jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lafitte throws a quick counter kick to the body but Kordic avoids it.

Lafitte misses with a body kick.
Kordic connects with a jab.
Lafitte has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kordic finds it's way round the side to connect with Lafitte's head.
Lafitte bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kordic moves out of range of the body kick.
Kordic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kordic misses with a double jab
and Lafitte counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kordic smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kordic cracks Lafitte with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lafitte throws a jab but it's blocked by Kordic.
Kordic tries to score with a low kick but Lafitte moves his leg out of the way.
Lafitte looks to land a body kick but Kordic moved away.

Lafitte misses with the combination.
Lafitte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lafitte takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lafitte avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kordic rushes Lafitte and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Lafitte is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Kordic piles on the pressure and Lafitte crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
