Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between El Pablo Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vik Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, El Pablo Diablo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vik Vader!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diablo's head backwards.
Diablo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Diablo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vader was covering up waiting for the punch and Diablo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diablo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Diablo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diablo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Diablo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Vader controls Diablo momentarily but Diablo frees himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Diablo takes one on the button.
Vik Vader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Diablo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vader tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diablo is in Vader's guard.

Vader pulls Diablo in close to prevent any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Diablo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Diablo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That was a close round but I would say that El Pablo Diablo will probably get the nod.

Diablo stands up over Vader, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Diablo is looking to clinch but Vader is avoiding it.
Vader moves into the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Vader fails to land.

Diablo is looking for a takedown.
Diablo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Vader gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Diablo tries to pull guard but Vader forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Diablo tries to work over Vader's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Vader lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Diablo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vader walks away with a smile on his face. Diablo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice jab there from Vader.
Vader scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Vader feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diablos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Diablo looks for a takedown but Vader sprawls well.
Diablo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
El Pablo Diablo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vader feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diablos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Diablo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Diablo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Vader lands with an uppercut that bounces Diablo off the cage and back into range.
Diablo is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vik Vader showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Vader lunges at Diablo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diablo's hand.
Oh Diablo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diablo takes one to the side of the head.
Vader cracks Diablo with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vik Vader!
