The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carter wants it to stay on the feet.
Carter attempts a counter takedown but Troukil avoids it well and moves away.
Troukil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Troukil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carter will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Carter is staying active underneath Troukil, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
