The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximov shoots in looking for a takedown. Kami tries to sprawl out of it but Maximov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kami manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kami had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maximov defends it easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Maximov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kami has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maximov has managed to get both his arms back between Kami's legs - danger averted.

Kami pushes a forearm under Maximov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Maximov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
