The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sole has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sole motions for Ronaldo to come forward. Sole throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Ronaldo has had enough of the clinch but Sole keeps him there for the moment.

Sole lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Ronaldo tries to pull guard but Sole holds him up against the cage and eventually Ronaldo drops back down to his feet.

and Sole rattles Ronaldo with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Ronaldo tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Sole dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Ronaldo stiff and motionless on the mat!
