The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gartola looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mullins is on top in guard.

Mullins won't allow Gartola to get back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mullins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mullins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gartola shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gartola was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mullins can't do much from the bottom here.
Mullins is working to avoid the ground and pound but Gartola connects with a decent elbow.

Gartola has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Gartola connects with a right hand. Mullins shakes it off.

Gartola circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Mullins tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Gartola wins by KO!
