Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Austin Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Hosmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Hosmer!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin moves into range and clinches up with Hosmer.
Hosmer blocks a body shot from Griffin.
Griffin misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hosmer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Griffin gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Eric Hosmer has been cut.
Hosmer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Griffin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hosmer misses with a punch on the inside.
Hosmer working hard to break the clinch.
Griffin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Griffin lands an elbow inside.
Griffin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Griffin lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That has opened up Eric Hosmer's cut even more.
Griffin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Griffin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hosmers head.
Griffin displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hosmer up against the cage.
Hosmer decides to pull guard.
Griffin wants to get up but he can't break Hosmer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hosmer wants to sweep here but Griffin controlling him for the moment.
Griffin tries to stand but Hosmer is controlling from the bottom.
Hosmer pulls Griffin in close to prevent any damage.
Griffin stands up and waves to Hosmer to follow him.
Hosmer tries to move into range but Griffin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The cut above Eric Hosmer's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Griffin stuffs the takedown attempt from Hosmer. Hosmer gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hosmer clinches with his opponent.
Griffin lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eric Hosmer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Austin Griffin!
