Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronn Fuzzynuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronn Fuzzynuts acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fuzzynuts gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fuzzynuts is struggling to control the position.
Pace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fuzzynuts turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Fuzzynuts throws an elbow but Pace slips to the side and avoids it well.
Fuzzynuts wants to stand but Pace is controlling his arm.
Pace sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Pace throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Fuzzynuts tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pace knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fuzzynuts manages to get himself to full guard.

Fuzzynuts isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pace stacks Fuzzynuts on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pace!
Pace will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
