The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Troukil is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wall's half guard.
Troukil wants to pass the guard but Wall is defending well.

Wall drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Troukil gets the underhooks and prevents it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wall is trying to drag Troukil to the mat but Troukil just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Wall has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Troukil clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Wall seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Troukil for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harold Wall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
