Winters comes to the cage accompanied by Avenged Sevenfold - Hail To The King. Michael Winters looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Winters looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Winters with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mendes counters with a stiff right hand.
Mendes throws a head kick that misses.
Mendes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Winterss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Mendes lands a nice looking body shot.
Mendes fakes the body blow, causing Winters to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Winters goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jose Mendes!
A pretty intense looking Jose Mendes took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
