The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina throws a sloppy body shot
and Devries counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been told by Devries's head coaches at Spetznaz Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Medina throws the left hand but Devries avoids the punch easily.
Devries connects with a jab.
Devries takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looked like Devries was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
The fighters circling - Medina throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Devries was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Medina.

Medina tries to close the distance and clinch up but Devries swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Devries throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Medina on the side of the head.

Devries walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Medina drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Devries swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Medina's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
