Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Von Magnaron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlin Paschal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marlin Paschal looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marlin Paschal!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paschal darts in and clinches Magnaron up against the ropes.
Magnaron pushes Paschal back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Paschal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Magnaron uses from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magnaron working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Paschal is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Magnaron defends well.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Magnaron is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Magnaron trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Paschal takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Paschal throws a leg kick
and Magnaron cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Marlin Paschal has been cut.
Paschal takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Paschal tries to clinch but Magnaron moves away
and Magnaron connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Paschal takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Paschal is rocked!
Magnaron is stalking Paschal. Paschal circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Magnaron, and it's lights out! Paschal really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
