The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red Robin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Red Robin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Conner blocks a jab.
Red Robin lands a two punch combo.
Red Robin checks a leg kick.
Red Robin throws a hook but Conner avoids it easily.
Red Robin misses the shot to the body.
Conner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Conner throws a leg kick which misses Red Robin's front leg but catches the back leg as Red Robin tries to avoid it.
Red Robin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Red Robin lands with an overhand left.
Conner blocks a jab.
Conner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A head kick misses from Conner.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Conner rushes Red Robin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Red Robin has had enough of the clinch but Conner keeps him there for the moment.
With the fighters up against the cage, Conner throws an elbow but misses.
Red Robin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Conner lands with a left to the head.
A frustrated look appears on Red Robin's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Conner tries to land knees in the clinch but Red Robin avoids the damage to the body.
Red Robin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Conner misses with a low kick as Red Robin jumps back.

Red Robin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Red Robin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Conner sprawling to the canvas! Conner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Red Robin finish him?!
Oh Conner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Conner walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Conner limp body while Red Robin jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
