PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brad Pickett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Van Der Hoorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Van Der Hoorn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickett lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pickett thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Van Der Hoorn if he has to take too many more of those.
Van Der Hoorn avoids the head kick by Pickett.
Van Der Hoorn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pickett defends it well.
Brad Pickett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pickett works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pickett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
