Watson has chosen The Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera fails to land the takedown.
Rivera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Watson feints the counter takedown.
Watson leaves Rivera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Watson appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mountain Rivera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Watson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rivera is trying to defend but Watson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

In his post fight interview, Sean Watson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
