Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto Geisler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Bernardo Muriel!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muriel cracks Geisler with a right hand to the side of the head.
Muriel cracks a nice hook into Geisler's ribs.
Bernardo Muriel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muriel ducks under a wild hook from Geisler.
Geisler scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Bernardo Muriel has been cut.
Muriel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Geisler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Muriel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A little feinted left hand from Geisler on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Muriel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Geisler's calf.
Geisler stuns Muriel with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Geisler fails in his attempt to clinch.
Muriel looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Muriel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Muriel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Geisler moves away from the strike by Muriel.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Geisler tests Muriel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Muriel slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Geisler punishes Muriel's body with a nice straight punch.
Geisler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Muriel tries to close the distance and clinch but Geisler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It looked like Geisler was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Muriel.
A looping hook to the body misses from Muriel. Geisler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Geisler lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Muriel tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Muriel lands with a kick to the temple. Geisler shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Muriel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Geisler. That did some damage!
Geisler blocks a head kick by Muriel.
A little feinted left hand from Geisler on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Muriel throws a hook but Geisler avoids it easily.
Geisler was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Geisler connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Geisler lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Muriel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Geisler moves away.
Muriel throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Muriel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Geisler cracks Muriel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Muriel looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Geisler finish him?
Muriel is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Geisler fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Muriel out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Otto Geisler!
