Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdullah Zaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaire had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Blade defends it easily.

Blade got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zaire has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blade has managed to get both his arms back between Zaire's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Blade seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Blade will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Zaire working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blade doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blade manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Zaire has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
