Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Peters checks a leg kick.
Peters misses with a straight right.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Doji.
Peters swats away the attempt to clinch by Doji.

Doji shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Peters is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doji thows a huge punch but Peters dodges it nicely.
Doji takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Peters is staying active underneath Doji, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Peters wants to get back to his feet.

Doji not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Peters is trying to stand back up but Doji is controlling him

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Peters gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Doji could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Doji wants to control from the top but Peters keeps moving.

Doji stands up from Peters's guard - Doji perhaps looking for a knockout.
Doji is breathing heavily.
Nice takedown defense from Peters. No joy for Doji on that attempt.

Peters darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Doji is refusing to be controlled, as Peters sits in half guard.

Peters seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Doji manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Peters wants to clinch

so Doji counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.Doji trying to move into half guard but instead Peters has managed to sweep!

Doji looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Doji had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Peters is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Doji Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Peters's back instead.

Doji looking for the choke but no joy.

Doji sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Peters taps out!
