Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Connor Kenway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvan Wiltord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenway 's entrance music is Warriors. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenway looks to throw a body kick

and Wiltord counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Wiltord drops back looking for a leg! Kenway is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kenway manages to kick Wiltord off! Wiltord jumps back into Kenway 's guard.
Kenway is trying to keep Wiltord in close.
Wiltord wants to control from the top but Kenway keeps moving.
Wiltord won't allow Kenway to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wiltord trying to control but Kenway is working from the bottom.
Kenway on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kenway tries to get out of the position.
Kenway pulls Wiltord in close to prevent any damage.
Wiltord trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Wiltord stands and throws Kenway 's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Wiltord working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Wiltord tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kenway tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wiltord wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wiltord has hold of Kenway 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kenway tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wiltord cranks the arm and Kenway screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kenway , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
