The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitsev throws out a loose jab but Vettenranta uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vettenranta tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zaitsev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vettenranta somewhat.
Zaitsev stuffs the takedown attempt from Vettenranta. Vettenranta gets slowly back to his feet.
Zaitsev throws a lazy right hand but Vettenranta sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Zaitsev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vettenranta manages to avoid it.
