Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Puma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Kush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Puma!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kush gets caught napping as Puma dives in and scores a takedown. Kush manages to retain guard.

Kush pushes Puma off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Nice uppercut there from Kush.

Puma feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kush looking to control.

Kush working for a triangle but Puma defends it easily.
Puma connects with a couple of short punches.
Puma with a nice head shot there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kush looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kush has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Puma off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Puma.

Kush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Puma.
Kush looks to land a combination but Puma avoids it well.
Puma misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jay Kush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Puma.

and Kush counters with a stiff right hand.

and Kush cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Puma is rocked!
Kush connects with a stiff jab that staggers Puma - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Jay Kush was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
