Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alfred Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Moore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Barker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Barker.
Barker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Moore breaks the clinch.
Barker has closed the distance and engaged Moore in a clinch.
Moore tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Barker's elbow.
Barker is pressed up against the cage. Moore has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barker down to the mat. Barker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Moore is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Barker has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Barker!

Moore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barker but Barker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Barker seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Moore throws a sloppy head kick and Barker moves out of range easily.

Moore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moore somewhat.

Barker stalks Moore and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Moore's face. Moore staggers backwards, shaken.

Barker darts in and clinches Moore up against the cage.
Barker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Moore backwards.
Barker has had enough of the clinch but Moore keeps him there for the moment.
Barker has picked Moore up - he's going for a ride! Barker dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Moore is not content to let Barker control the position.
Barker throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Moore to regain full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore is controlling Barker's posture.

Well Barker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
