Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simo Rantalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elmeri Hautamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hautamaki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nekromantix-Generation 666 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hautamaki shoots in looking for a takedown. Rantalainen tries to sprawl out of it but Hautamaki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rantalainen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Simo Rantalainen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elmeri Hautamaki.

Hautamaki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rantalainen sprawls well initially but Hautamaki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hautamaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rantalainen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rantalainen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
