The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Lach.

Joyner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lach tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Joyner is in Lach's guard.

Joyner keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lach's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lach controls Joyner momentarily but Joyner frees himself.

Joyner stands and throws Lach's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lach tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Joyner easily slips into full mount!

It looks like Gniewomir Lach has been cut.

Lach is in a horrible position here. Joyner smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Joyner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lach is in all sorts of trouble here.
Joyner lands a big shot there that rocks Lach but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
